HR series speakers are regarded as the best studio monitor in its class for nearly a decade. To surpass outgoing products, the MK2 incorporated the cast aluminum front baffle, dubbed as Zero Edge Baffle, which enabled the speaker to have very soft edges with definitive HR visual characteristics, while acoustically achieving great dispersion and wide sweet spot. It also allowed mounting the tweeter and the woofer from inside, making it very clean without the visible mounting screws.
