Z.AMP is a design study for a new type of guitar amplifier to cultivate a group of users who do not share a sentiment for traditional guitar amplifier design. Guitar amplifiers on the market today don't look much different from the time the amplifier was first created. It all uses a wood box, wrapped with vinyl or leatherette, and uses grille cloth to cover the woofer.
Z.amp is a modern take of guitar amplifier. The amp is designed to be at home in an interior of a contemporary house, rather than in a garage or a clattered basement. The cabinet is constructed from one piece bent ply-wood, and can be manufactured with a minimum amount of glue or other toxic chemicals used for a traditional amplifier. It can be finished in different colors and can even be matched to one's guitar finish.
