Just about year ago, I spent about 3 weeks doing contract work for my previous employer, LOUD Technologies, and created detailed concept drawings for these two products, Mackie Onyx BlackJack and BlackBird. There are a few details that are different from my concepts, but these final products are, for the most part, as I designed. Cost was a major concern as usual, but what I really focused on was applying the family design language of Onyx-i mixers to these vastly different products.
