WHO IS AKI HIROTA?

I am an experienced Industrial Designer who has over 15 years of experience desigining many products in different industries.

WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED?

I am physically located in the greater Seattle area in Washington State, United States, but I can provide my service to anybody, anywhere, as long as there is an internet connection.

WHAT CAN YOU DO FOR US?

I will assist you with any and all the aspect of design so that your product development will be successful. For example, I may just provide a visualization of your idea, a few concepts drawings, product graphics, or CAD modeling. Or I can help you develop your product starting from user research.

WHERE DID AKI LEARN TO DESIGN?

As a child, I was always drawing something and very curious about how things worked.  After graduated from Arizona State University with BS in Industrial Design, I gained professional experience through working at several different companies with very talented designers / engineers / researchers.

HOW TO PRONOUNCE AKI HIROTA?

WHAT IS PLUSONEID?

PLUSONEID is a made up word from Plus One Industrial Designer. Many businesses are missing one important element, Design, to create truelly successful products. This is where I come in.

Your business plus one ID = successful product development.

ARE YOU EXPENSIVE?

It depends. If you are an individual trying to produce your first product and have never hired a designer, you may feel it is a bit expensive. But if you have hired a design studio, or a lawyer many times, you will feel I am very reasonable. I will carefully work with your needs and budgets and provide the best design solutions for your unique situation.

If you still feel you can't afford a designer, contact me to discuss an alternative method of payment. After all as one designer say,"Questions about whether design is necessary or affordable are quite beside the point: design is inevitable. The alternative to good design is bad design, not no design at all". -Douglas Martin

WHAT'S UP WITH THE ROBOT?

It is my Avatar. He will fight to create the world where all the products are attractive, intuitive, and worth having.
